For this tutorial you will need:
Your own choice of tubes and colours
Filters Required: FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss
Eye Candy 3 or 4000
We will make the tile first
Open your tube - Duplicate and close the original
Resize the tube, using Bicubic Resampling, to 300 pixels in height
**your resulting image should ideally be 255 x 300 in size
Go to Layers, Duplicate and hide the duplicate layer
Add a new layer and send it to the bottom by going to Layers, Arrange Send to bottom or go to the Layer palette, click on it and drag to the bottom
Flood fill with a light colour from your tube
Go to Layers, Merge visible and merge the bottom layer and the original tube layer
Go to Effects, Plugins Eye Candy and apply Squint effect, radius setting on 30
Go to Selections, Select All
Then Selections, Modify Contract by 2
Selections Invert
Flood fill with a gradient that matches the tube, Angle 45, Repeats 0
**I used Duotone Brown in the sample at the top, you may have to make your own by choosing a light and dark color for the foreground and background colors, then choosing the Foreground/Background gradient
Select None
Unhide top tube layer, lower the opacity to 50%
Layers, Merge visible. Minimize for later use
Open a new Transparent Image 500 x 400
Flood fill with a light color to match the tube
Add a New Layer
Choose Selection Tool, Rectangle, Custom Selection with these settings:
Top 20 Left 30 Right 300 Bottom 335
Then Hit OK
Choose a slightly darker color from your tube than the last one you used and flood fill the selection
Select None
On the same layer choose Selection Tool, Rectangle, Custom Selection with these settings:
Top 100 Left 300 Right 400 Bottom 335
Then hit OK
Flood fill the selection with same color
Select None
You should have something like this:

On the same layer, go to Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds and apply with these settings:
Width 3, Opacity 60, Colour - a dark color from the tube

Still on the same Layer, Choose the Magic wand and click outside the pattern area
Go to Selections Invert
The marching ants should be around the pattern area
Go to Selections Modify Select Selection Borders, Both Sides checked. Anti-alias checked, Border Width 3
Add a new layer and Flood fill with the same gradient you used at the beginning
Go to Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds and use same settings but this time with Horizontal checked
Leave selected and go to Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow:
Vertical and Horizontal 1 Opacity 100 Blur 1 Colour Black
Select None
Restore the tile we made earlier
Copy and Paste as a New Layer
Choose the mover tool and position the tile, Center inside the larger part of the block we made earlier

Go to Layers Merge visible
Choose your Magic Wand, feather 0, Click in the solid colour
Add a New Layer and flood fill the selection with your gradient
Go to Adjust Add/Remove Noise with these settings: Uniform - checked, 8%
Lower the opacity to 70%
Select None
Add a New Layer
Choose the Selection Tool, Rectangle, Custom Selection with these settings:
Top 75 Left 410 Right 450 Bottom 350
Then Hit OK
Flood fill with your gradient, Angle 45, Repeats 0, this time with Invert checked
Adjust Add/Remove Noise with same settings as before
Select None
Go to Effects 3D Effects Drop Shadow with these settings:
Vertical Minus 20 Horizontal 20 Opacity 40 Blur 1 Colour Black
Go to Effects Plugins and apply FM Tile Tools> Blend Emboss with the Default values

Add a new layer
Go to Selections Select All
Flood fill with the Gradient, Angle 45, Repeats 0, Invert checked
Go to Selections> Modify Contract by 2, then hit Delete on your keyboard
Again go to Selections Modify Contract by 2
Flood fill with gradient, same settings
Go to Selections Modify Contract by 2 and hit Delete again
One more time, go to Selections Modify Contract by 2
Flood fill with gradient
Go to Selections Modify Contract by 2, and hit Delete
Select None
Go to Effects 3D Effects Drop shadow and use these settings:
Vertical Minus 9 Horizontal 10 Opacity 50 Blur 1 Colour Black
Go to Effects Plugins and apply FM Tile Tools Blend Emboss with Default values
Merge all Flatten
Add Text as a Vector. Stretch or Rotate to fit the space you have chosen
Move the text into position and convert to raster
Apply a Drop Shadow of Vertical 1, Horizontal 2, Opacity 50, Blur 1 Colour Black
Merge all Flatten
Add watermark and any necessary Copyright information
Resize using Bicubic Resampling
